A sense of place

McCabe’s is one of the original coffee roasters in Ireland and the first to go carbon negative. It’s an award-winning company that delivers speciality coffee around the world. McCabe’s likes to ‘keep things people’. All its coffee is hand roasted. It only buys from farmers it knows personally and who have a history of fair and ethical trading. McCabe’s wanted its identity and communications to reflect its down-to-earth Irish-ness. We developed a logo and graphic identity that reflects the roastery’s roots. The symbol merges a coffee bean with County Wicklow’s iconic Great Sugarloaf Mountain to tell the story of what McCabe’s does and create a sense of place.
