Look at it this way

ACT and Children’s Hospices UK was formed when the UK’s two leading charities for children with life threatening and life-limiting conditions came together. Soon after, they were named as beneficiary of the X Factor Finalists 2011 charity single – a profile-raising opportunity too good to miss. So they decided to find a new name, logo and graphic identity in time for its release. We had just three weeks.

Their name, Together for Short Lives, captures what they’re all about. The child-like butterfly represents fragility and transience. And we’ve emphasised the word lives because it’s the quality of the children’s lives that’s all-important, no matter how short.
